Shilton Parish Councillor Vacancy (as of Friday 8th April 2016)
Councillor Katherine Robertson has formerly resigned leaving a vacancy for a new Councillor to be appointed to Shilton Parish Council.
Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, if within 14 days after this notice ( i.e. no later than 28th April) a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made to:
The Head of the Paid Service,
West Oxfordshire District Council,
Woodgreen,
Witney,
Oxfordshire,
OX28 1NB
by ten electors for the Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy otherwise the vacancy will be filled by co-option. If there is to be an election, it will take place no later than the 30th June 2016.

Annual Litter Pick
A reminder that the annual litter pick will be held on the 28th May. We will meet at the pond at 10.00am. Plastic bags will be provided. A soup lunch for allparticipants will follow at Shilton Village Hall.
The next Shilton Parish Council Meeting is to be held on Wednesday, May 18th 2016, at Shilton Old School .
